Do you think having children is a fundamental human right? Should there should be any restrictions?

Hm. That one is difficult... On the one side, to become children and to breed is in human nature. Its instinctive, primeeval. Our Subconcious is fixed on the thought of becoming healthy and strong descendants. So Humans who are attraktive to us have in most cases a compatible DNA, or stats who are predestined for becoming and rising children.

On the Other hand, the human race is way over their limit.... we have huge problems with overpopulation. In fact, this is one of our most dangerous problem at all. To say EVERYONE should have the right for children cant be said easily. Not if we think in a bigger picture.

Starvation, diseases, poorness. That are the most terrifying results of overpopulation.

I dont know exactly how it is in other Countries but in Germany we have a grand demographic problem.

We have way too many old people and not enough young to hold the balance of the retirement system. (thats why we go with 65 in pension (soon it will be at 67. thats just insane! Its like work all your life and in the end of your last workday there's already your coffin waiting for you.)

So Germany needs Children, and Imigrants, BUT and thats something so many are afraid to say out loud: We need qualified imigrants. Not people out of the third world., the turkey russia or other countries who just held their hands out and life from our social system.
And we dont need children from Hartz IV families either! (long term unemployed people, which are OFTEN (Not all, but many enough) asocial and a burden of the sociaty.)
The children of those families didnt have the chances. Their are already infected by the bad life style of their parents and become in most cases the same or even worse. get really early pregnant and... well you see were this get.

The one wee need to become children. The ones who study, they mostly become only one child if even that. I mean usually it takes till 23 to end you academic way (with studying) and then you want to work a few years well... then you are almost thirty when your ready for a child. Thats too late.

So if you can afford a child (without help from the state!) then yes you can have as many as you want. ( I heard to raise a child costs about 200,000 $ [from pregnancy to his 18th birthday] )


But as usually, Happiness and Peace cant be reached unless you sacrifice some of your freedom.

If you ever heard from the Book: "A brave new world" you will understand better what I mean.

To sum it up:

The fundamental human right of having children is freedome. If you have freedome then there is an unbalance in this world. There is war, starvation, the fight of pure survival. But if you give up the freedome you can achieve Peace and end the starvation in this world. True Peace or Ultimate Freedome, neither of them is perfect, its a thin line between the two always alternating it is what we should reach to achieve, what we have to reach if humanity want to survive.
